This Master Legal Policy governs the access, use, and operation of the website, digital services, and online platform known as World of Sourcing (WOS) (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”). By accessing, browsing, registering on, or using the Platform in any manner whatsoever, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by the provisions contained in this document. If you do not agree with any of the terms contained herein, you must immediately discontinue the use of the Platform.
1. PLATFORM OWNERSHIP AND OPERATOR

2. NATURE AND PURPOSE OF THE PLATFORM
World of Sourcing (WOS) is an international business-to-business (B2B) digital sourcing and networking platform designed to connect businesses from multiple countries for the purpose of discovering suppliers, sourcing industrial machinery, promoting products, and exploring international trade opportunities.
The platform is primarily intended to support industries including, but not limited to:
- Plastics processing machinery
- Packaging machinery and equipment
- Printing machinery and technologies
- Industrial auxiliary equipment
- Moulds and dies
- Industrial manufacturing components
- Industrial automation technologies
- Related engineering and manufacturing services
The core objective of WOS is to provide a centralized digital ecosystem where manufacturers, suppliers, traders, distributors, service providers, and buyers can connect with one another in order to facilitate potential business collaborations and commercial opportunities.
The Platform operates strictly as an online intermediary technology service provider and functions solely as a digital marketplace and networking facilitator.
Under no circumstances shall WOS be deemed to:
- Manufacture any products listed on the platform
- Sell or distribute any goods
- Participate in negotiations between buyers and suppliers
- Guarantee the quality or authenticity of any listed product
- Act as an agent or representative of any user
All commercial transactions, negotiations, contractual arrangements, payments, deliveries, warranties, and obligations are conducted directly between the users of the platform.
3. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND LEGAL AGREEMENT
By accessing or using the Platform, the user agrees that:
- They have carefully read and understood the provisions contained within this Master Legal Policy.
- They consent to the legal obligations, responsibilities, and limitations described herein.
- They agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and international trade requirements relevant to their activities.
This document constitutes a legally binding agreement between the user and World of Sourcing (WOS). If any provision of this agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
4. ELIGIBILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM
The services offered by WOS are intended exclusively for legitimate business entities and industry professionals.
By registering on the Platform, the user represents and warrants that:
- They are at least 18 years of age.
- They possess the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
- They are authorized to act on behalf of the organization they represent.
- All information provided during registration is truthful and accurate.
Users who provide false information or engage in deceptive practices may have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated without prior notice.
5. USER REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITIES
To access certain features of the Platform, users may be required to create a registered account.
During registration, users may be asked to provide information such as:
- Company name
- Business address
- Contact details
- Industry information
- Product or service categories
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
- Notify WOS immediately of unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities conducted under their account
Users must not share their account credentials with unauthorized third parties. WOS shall not be responsible for losses resulting from negligent handling of login credentials by users.
6. PLATFORM SERVICES
World of Sourcing may provide a variety of digital services including:
- Business directory listings
- Product and machinery listings
- Supplier discovery tools
- Request-for-quotation (RFQ) systems
- Business communication tools
- Advertising and promotional features
- Industry networking opportunities
The Platform allows businesses to create detailed profiles and showcase their products to potential buyers from different countries. However, WOS does not verify every listing or supplier on the platform. Users must perform their own due diligence before entering into any commercial engagement.
7. PAID MEMBERSHIP AND PROMOTIONAL SERVICES
WOS may offer paid subscription plans and premium listing services that provide enhanced visibility and promotional benefits to users.
Such services may include:
- Featured company listings
- Sponsored product placements
- Premium search visibility
- Advertising banners
- Enhanced profile customization
Fees charged by WOS relate solely to the promotion and listing of businesses on the platform. Payments made to WOS do not constitute payment for products or services offered by other users.
8. BUYER AND SUPPLIER TRANSACTIONS
All commercial transactions conducted between users are independent of WOS. Users are solely responsible for:
- Negotiating contract terms
- Verifying supplier authenticity
- Confirming product quality
- Managing payment arrangements
- Ensuring compliance with international trade laws
WOS does not act as a party to any transaction. Accordingly, WOS shall not be liable for:
- Product defects
- Delivery delays
- Payment disputes
- Contractual disagreements
- Fraudulent misrepresentation by users
Users assume full responsibility for conducting independent due diligence prior to entering into commercial agreements.
9. ACCEPTABLE USE OF THE PLATFORM
Users must use the Platform in a lawful and responsible manner. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:
- Posting false or misleading information
- Impersonating another company or individual
- Uploading illegal or restricted products
- Engaging in fraudulent or deceptive practices
- Sending unsolicited promotional communications (spam)
- Attempting to hack or disrupt platform operations
- Extracting platform data through automated tools
Users found engaging in prohibited conduct may have their accounts suspended or permanently banned.
10. PRIVACY POLICY AND DATA PROTECTION
World of Sourcing is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of its users. Information collected by the Platform may include:
- Contact information
- Business information
- Technical usage data
- Website activity logs
This information is collected to:
- Provide platform services
- Facilitate buyer-supplier communication
- Improve platform functionality
- Prevent fraud and misuse
WOS does not sell personal data to third parties. Reasonable technical safeguards are implemented to protect user information.
11. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
As the Platform serves users across multiple countries, user data may be stored or processed in jurisdictions outside the user’s country of residence. By using the Platform, users consent to such international data transfers. WOS will take reasonable measures to ensure that appropriate data protection standards are maintained.
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All intellectual property rights associated with the Platform, including:
- Website design
- Databases
- Logos
- Branding
- Software systems
- Platform architecture
are owned by World of Sourcing or its licensors. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, or distribution of platform content is strictly prohibited.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform. This includes but is not limited to:
- Loss of business opportunities
- Loss of profits
- Data loss
- Fraudulent activity by third parties
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”
14. FORCE MAJEURE
WOS shall not be liable for delays or failure in service caused by circumstances beyond its control, including:
- Natural disasters
- War
- Government restrictions
- Internet outages
- Cybersecurity incidents
15. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform shall fall under the jurisdiction of courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

17. REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
World of Sourcing (WOS) offers various paid promotional services including premium listings, enhanced visibility placements, digital advertising, and other subscription-based services intended to improve business exposure on the platform.
Payments made to WOS relate solely to platform services, listing visibility, advertising benefits, and promotional packages, and do not constitute payments for products or services offered by third-party users.
17.1 Non-Refundable Services
Unless otherwise explicitly stated in writing, payments made for the following services are non-refundable:
- Business listing subscriptions
- Premium listing upgrades
- Promotional advertisements
- Featured supplier placements
- Banner advertising
- Sponsored product listings
- Lead generation services
- Platform marketing campaigns
These services are considered digital promotional services which begin immediately upon activation.
17.2 EXCEPTIONAL REFUND SITUATIONS
Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:
- Duplicate payments made due to technical error.
- Payment processed but service not activated due to system malfunction.
- Billing errors attributable to WOS.
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 business days of the transaction. Requests should be sent to: register@worldofsourcing.comWOS reserves the sole right to determine eligibility for refunds after reviewing the circumstances.
17.3 NO REFUND FOR USER DISSATISFACTION
Refunds will not be issued for reasons such as:
- Lack of business inquiries or leads
- Dissatisfaction with platform exposure
- Changes in user business strategy
- Misinterpretation of services offered
WOS does not guarantee business results, sales, or transactions.
18. ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (AUP)
To maintain a safe and professional business environment, users must adhere to the acceptable use guidelines described below. Users shall not use the platform to engage in activities that are illegal, harmful, misleading, or unethical.
18.1 PROHIBITED CONTENT
Users must not upload or publish content that includes:
- False product claims
- Counterfeit goods
- Misleading pricing
- Fake company identities
- Fraudulent certifications
- Illegal products or restricted goods
Listings that violate international trade regulations may be removed without notice.
18.2 PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Spamming other users
- Harassing or threatening communications
- Phishing or impersonation
- Uploading malware or harmful software
- Unauthorized scraping of platform data
- Reverse engineering platform systems
- Circumventing security protections
Violations may result in:
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Legal action where applicable
19. ANTI-SPAM POLICY
World of Sourcing maintains a strict anti-spam policy to ensure professional and legitimate communication between users. Users may communicate through the platform's contact tools for genuine business inquiries only.
19.1 DEFINITION OF SPAM
Spam includes:
- Unsolicited bulk messages
- Promotional messages unrelated to the recipient's business
- Repeated unwanted communication
- Automated marketing messages sent without consent
19.2 ENFORCEMENT
Users who violate this policy may face:
- Communication restrictions
- Account suspension
- Permanent removal from the platform
WOS reserves the right to monitor communications occurring through its systems for the purpose of enforcing this policy.
20. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY POLICY
World of Sourcing respects the intellectual property rights of companies, manufacturers, and content creators. Users may upload product images, specifications, trademarks, and marketing materials only if they possess the legal rights to use such content.
20.1 OWNERSHIP OF PLATFORM CONTENT
All platform-related intellectual property including:
- Website design
- Software architecture
- Databases
- Logos and branding
- System functionality
are the exclusive property of WOS or its licensors. Unauthorized use, duplication, or reproduction is strictly prohibited.
20.2 USER CONTENT
Users retain ownership of the content they upload but grant WOS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, publish, and distribute such content within the platform for operational and promotional purposes.
20.3 INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY COMPLAINTS
If a rights holder believes their intellectual property has been infringed, they may submit a formal complaint including:
- Proof of ownership
- Description of the infringement
- URL or location of the infringing material

WOS may remove disputed content pending investigation.
21. COOKIE POLICY
To improve the user experience and optimize platform functionality, World of Sourcing uses cookies and similar tracking technologies. Cookies are small data files stored on a user's device when visiting the website.
These cookies help the platform:
- Remember user preferences
- Maintain login sessions
- Analyze website performance
- Improve user experience
Users may disable cookies through their browser settings; however, certain features of the platform may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
22. DATA SECURITY
WOS implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect user data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
Security measures may include:
- Secure server infrastructure
- Data encryption
- Access control protocols
- Monitoring systems
Despite these measures, no internet-based platform can guarantee absolute security. Users acknowledge that they share information on the platform at their own risk.
23. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND EXTERNAL WEBSITES
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or external resources. These links are provided solely for informational convenience.
WOS does not control or endorse such third-party websites and shall not be responsible for:
- Their content
- Their privacy practices
- Their business operations
- Their reliability
Users access such external resources at their own discretion.
24. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
World of Sourcing provides its platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
WOS makes no warranties or representations regarding:
- Accuracy of product listings
- Authenticity of suppliers
- Quality of goods or services
- Reliability of business partners
- Completion of commercial transactions
Users must independently evaluate potential business partners before engaging in transactions.
25. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, WOS shall not be liable for:
- Loss of profits
- Business interruption
- Financial losses
- Product disputes
- Delivery failures
- Payment fraud
- Misrepresentation by users
The platform serves strictly as a digital information and networking service. All commercial relationships occur directly between users.
26. EXPORT COMPLIANCE AND TRADE REGULATIONS
Users agree to comply with all applicable:
- International trade regulations
- Export control laws
- Import restrictions
- Sanctions programs
Users must ensure that products listed on the platform do not violate applicable trade restrictions or regulatory requirements. WOS may remove listings that appear to violate such regulations.
27. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND ARBITRATION
In the event of disputes between users and WOS, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter through good faith negotiations.
If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the matter may be submitted to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India. The place of arbitration shall be Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
28. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS CONSENT
By registering on the platform, users consent to receive communications from WOS including:
- Service notifications
- Policy updates
- System alerts
- Promotional communications
Users may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time through the provided opt-out mechanisms.
29. POLICY UPDATES
World of Sourcing reserves the right to modify or update these policies at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the Platform.
Users are encouraged to periodically review the policies to stay informed of any changes. Continued use of the Platform following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policies.
30. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Master Legal Policy constitutes the entire agreement between users and World of Sourcing regarding use of the platform. It supersedes all prior agreements, communications, or understandings relating to the subject matter herein.

ADDITIONAL LEGAL PROTECTION CLAUSES
1. MARKETPLACE INTERMEDIARY CLAUSE
(Platform Liability Protection Clause)
World of Sourcing (WOS) operates strictly as an online business-to-business (B2B) intermediary platform that facilitates connections between independent buyers, suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and service providers.
The Platform serves solely as a technology-based digital marketplace designed to enable businesses to discover each other, showcase products, exchange information, and explore potential commercial opportunities.
Under no circumstances shall WOS be deemed to:
- Be a party to any transaction between users
- Act as a broker, dealer, agent, or representative of any user
- Participate in negotiations between buyers and sellers
- Guarantee the completion of any commercial transaction
- Verify the authenticity, legality, safety, or quality of products listed
All transactions conducted through or arising from connections made via the Platform are solely between the respective users involved.
WOS does not:
- Handle payments between buyers and sellers
- Take custody of goods
- Provide escrow services
- Guarantee delivery or product performance
Users acknowledge that any agreements, contracts, purchase orders, or business arrangements entered into as a result of connections made through the Platform are entirely independent of WOS.
Accordingly, WOS shall not be liable for any disputes, claims, damages, or losses arising from:
- Product defects
- Misrepresentation of goods
- Delivery failures
- Payment disputes
- Contractual disagreements
- Business losses or missed opportunities
Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence, verification, and risk assessment before entering into commercial relationships.
2. SUPPLIER MISREPRESENTATION PROTECTION CLAUSE
World of Sourcing allows businesses to create profiles, publish company information, and list products or services for the purpose of promoting their business to potential buyers.
All information submitted to the Platform is provided directly by the users themselves, including but not limited to:
- Company descriptions
- Product specifications
- Certifications and licenses
- Pricing information
- Manufacturing claims
- Production capacities
- Business credentials
WOS does not independently verify every representation made by suppliers or service providers on the Platform.
Users acknowledge and agree that:
- WOS does not guarantee the accuracy of any listing
- WOS does not certify the authenticity of any supplier
- WOS does not confirm regulatory compliance of listed products
- WOS does not validate claims regarding manufacturing capabilities
If a supplier provides inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent information, such conduct shall be the sole responsibility of the supplier.
WOS shall not be liable for any damages arising from:
- False product claims
- Counterfeit goods
- Fake certifications
- Fraudulent company representations
- Misleading pricing information
Buyers are strongly encouraged to independently verify suppliers through appropriate commercial due diligence procedures, including but not limited to:
- Company registration verification
- Product samples
- Factory audits
- Independent inspections
- Contractual documentation
WOS reserves the right, but not the obligation, to remove listings or suspend accounts suspected of misrepresentation.
3. PLATFORM ABUSE & LEAD HARVESTING PROTECTION
The integrity of the Platform depends on fair and ethical use by all participants. Users agree that they shall not engage in activities that exploit the Platform for unfair commercial advantage or misuse the information available through the Platform.
Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
Unauthorized Data Collection
Users shall not:
- Scrape platform data
- Extract supplier or buyer databases
- Use automated bots or crawlers
- Copy or reproduce listings at scale
Lead Harvesting
Users shall not collect or use contact information obtained from the Platform for purposes unrelated to legitimate business communication.
Activities considered abusive include:
- Bulk extraction of buyer or supplier contacts
- Building external marketing databases from platform data
- Selling or redistributing platform-generated leads
- Contacting users with unrelated services
Commercial Exploitation
Users shall not use the Platform to:
- Promote competing B2B platforms
- Divert traffic away from the Platform
- Conduct unauthorized marketing campaigns
- Manipulate search rankings or listing visibility
Any such activities may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of the offending account. WOS reserves the right to implement technical safeguards, monitoring mechanisms, and access restrictions to prevent platform abuse.
4. INDEMNIFICATION CLAUSE
(Critical Legal Protection)
Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless World of Sourcing (WOS), its parent companies, affiliated entities, directors, employees, agents, and partners from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from or related to:
- The user's use of the Platform
- Violation of these Terms and Policies
- Misrepresentation of products or services
- Breach of contractual obligations with other users
- Violation of applicable laws or regulations
- Intellectual property infringement
- Fraudulent or deceptive business practices
This indemnification obligation includes the reimbursement of reasonable legal fees, court costs, and expenses incurred by WOS in defending such claims.
Users further agree that WOS shall not be responsible for defending or participating in disputes between buyers and suppliers.
If any legal action or regulatory investigation arises due to the conduct of a user, the user agrees to fully cooperate with WOS and bear all associated liabilities. This indemnification obligation shall survive termination of the user's account and continued use of the Platform.
5. TERMINATION & ACCOUNT SUSPENSION FRAMEWORK
World of Sourcing reserves the right to monitor the use of its platform and enforce its policies to maintain a safe and professional business environment.
WOS may suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate user accounts under the following circumstances:
Policy Violations
Accounts may be suspended if users:
- Violate the platform's Terms of Use
- Provide false company information
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Post prohibited content
- Abuse communication tools
- Engage in spam or unsolicited marketing
Legal or Regulatory Concerns
Accounts may be restricted if listings appear to violate:
- International trade regulations
- Export control laws
- Intellectual property rights
- Consumer protection regulations
Platform Integrity Protection
WOS may also suspend accounts suspected of:
- Automated data scraping
- Platform manipulation
- Security breaches
- Unauthorized system access attempts
Suspension Procedures
Where appropriate, WOS may notify users of violations and provide an opportunity to correct such issues. However, in cases involving serious misconduct, WOS reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- User access to the Platform will be revoked
- Listings may be removed from public display
- Outstanding subscription payments remain non-refundable
- Certain legal obligations under these policies will remain in force
WOS shall not be liable for any losses resulting from the suspension or termination of user accounts in accordance with these policies.
